• SP1 stud plate ties are designed for sill-to-stud connections.
• SP2 stud plate ties are used for double-top-plate-to-stud connections.
• SPH stud plate ties are a heavy-duty U-shaped strap feature a horizontal portion that bears against the wood wall top plates or sill plates and two vertical legs that are nailed to the edges of a wood stud.
