The BA Beam Hanger is designed for applications involving solid sawn lumber and engineered wood. With solid sawn lumber, this top-flange hanger can support medium loads, while engineered wood products can support heavier loads. The BA has maximum nailing to sustain heavier loads and minimal nailing with positive-angle nailing (PAN) to target moderate load scenarios. Compared to welded hangers, a one-piece construction that is more affordable. A web stiffener is not necessary thanks to a full-height joist flange that grabs the top chord of the joist and prevents rotation. Available by special order to fit members that are skewed or sloping.
