The Simpson MGU Medium Girder Face-Mount Hanger in hot-dip galvanized (HDG) finish is engineered for durability in demanding environments. Designed for exterior and high-moisture applications, this hanger provides strong, reliable support for medium-capacity girder connections in wood construction. The hot-dip galvanization process enhances corrosion resistance, making it ideal for outdoor structures, coastal areas, and treated lumber applications.
Built for use with Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws, the MGU facilitates fast, secure installations without predrilling. The face-mount design allows for retrofit applications, enabling attachment to framing members after they are temporarily positioned. It accommodates skews up to 45° or can be installed with one flange concealed, offering flexibility for diverse framing requirements.

- For angled girder connections, the MGU supports skews up to 45°. Secure fasteners properly to maintain structural integrity.
