Specifications
The Strong-Tie AC series of post caps are used to attach the top of posts to beams. The AC6 post cap is approved to be installed with the specified nails or with Strong-Drive SD connector screws. The Strong-Tie AC6 post cap features a G90 galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
