Description
The Simpson Strong-Tie LSSJ series of light adjustable jack hangers create a one sided connection that features a hinged seat that is field adjustable 45 degrees up and down to fit all rafter slopes ranging from 0:12 to 12:12. The LSSJ26LZ can also be skewed in the field up to 45 degrees, making it one of the most versatile connectors offered by Simpson. This connector is shipped pre-bent to a 45 degree angle which is suited for the typical installation.
Installation:
  • Use all specified fasteners
  • For LSSJ26 an extra nail in the seat at load durations (115) and (125) adds 75 lb. to the 0.148" x 1 1/2" nails table downloads
  • Joist end needs to be bevel cut
  • Table and illustration shows left and right skews LSSJR/L (LSSJR = skewed right; LSSJL = skewed left)

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values

Jack hangers

My guys loved them. These were the easiest jack hangers to put on. The guys cut and toe-nailed everything in place and then came back and put the hangers in place. I wont ever go back to the old hangers
