The Simpson Strong-Tie PBV post base is designed to make a hidden connection between viga posts and concrete. This circular hidden-standoff post base comes in two different sizes for a variety of post shapes. It attaches to concrete with threaded rod and epoxy to the bottom of the viga post with Strong-Drive® SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws. The PBV6 post base features a G90 Galvanized finish which produces a much more durable than standard paint.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
