Description

The Simpson PPBF44 4x4 Adjustable Porch Post Base- Gray Painted enhances the strength and stability of your construction projects. Crafted from durable heavy-gauge steel, this post base provides a simplified, one-time installation designed to support permanent porch framing throughout all stages of construction.

The unique design eliminates the need for temporary vertical support and streamlines the subcontractor scheduling process. Designed to withstand vertical construction loads prior to embedment in concrete, the PPBZ will support the weight of most framed porches and overhangs.

This product is intended for use with 4x4 posts or columns but is also available for other post and column sizes while the adjustable seat can accommodate varying porch-slab thickness from 4-inches to 12-inches.
