The Simpson Strong-Tie RP6HDG Retrofit Plate is engineered to reinforce masonry buildings by securely anchoring walls to roof or floor structures. Its 6" x 5 3/4" octagonal design meets the International Existing Building Code (IEBC) requirement of 30 square inches, ensuring compliance for both unreinforced masonry and multi-wythe solid brick walls. The hot-dip galvanized (HDG) finish provides enhanced corrosion resistance, making it suitable for exterior applications.
